Posted by Conway Glass | Conway, South Carolina
There’s something almost magical about watching raw materials transform into something luminous, colorful, and alive. At Conway Glass, that magic happens every single day — and we want you to be part of it.
Whether you’ve been dreaming about creating your own stained glass panel or you’re curious what it feels like to shape molten glass with your own hands, we have a class for you. Here’s everything you need to know about signing up.
🎨 Stained Glass Classes – For Beginners & Beyond
Our stained glass classes are one of the most popular things we offer here at the studio — and it’s easy to see why. There’s nothing quite like holding up a finished piece and watching the light pour through colors you chose and cut yourself.
We offer classes for every skill level:
Beginner – Copper Foil Tiffany Method: This is where most students start, and it never gets old. You’ll learn the foundational technique made famous by Louis Comfort Tiffany himself — cutting, foiling, and soldering glass into a beautiful finished piece. No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
Intermediate – Old English Lead Method: Ready to level up? The lead came method opens up a whole new world of design possibilities and is the technique behind many of the world’s most iconic stained glass windows.
Make & Take Sessions: Short on time? Our Make & Take sessions are perfect for a fun afternoon — you’ll create a finished piece and take it home the same day.
Our family team brings over 40 years of glassmaking experience to every class, and we pride ourselves on keeping things warm, welcoming, and fun. You don’t need to be an artist to walk through our doors — you just need to show up ready to create.
